"Editorial team" on this site means the people at SvG Marketing who research, write and check the pages, using research software to gather and compare published price data. It does not mean a large newsroom. We would rather tell you that plainly than invent staff biographies.

How a page is made

1. Question first. Every page starts from a question people actually type into search engines. We use search data to find them and write the page as a direct answer.
2. Sources gathered. For price pages, we pull the current figures from at least two published cost databases (typically Angi, HomeGuide, HomeAdvisor, Forbes Home, Fixr) and, where they exist, manufacturer price lists and government data. Each figure is recorded with its date.
3. Draft. A draft is written from those sources. Where sources disagree, the page shows the disagreement rather than averaging it away.
4. Fact list. Every number in the draft is listed with its source and checked against the source again.
5. Review. Pages about exterior work are read by Meriton Rexhepi, who does that work. Other pages are checked against the editorial policy by a second person before publication.
6. Publication and dating. The page shows its publication and last-update dates. Price data is rechecked at least once a year, and the update date changes only when figures were actually re-verified.

Use of software

We use software, including AI tools, for research, comparing sources and preparing drafts. No page is published without a person reading it in full and checking every figure against its source. AI is a research assistant here, not the author of record, and it never decides what goes live.
